Aug 17, · August 17, Breakthrough (Paul Mac's Stadium Version) was a tune I first heard during Dave Clarke's bestial performance in Zagreb's club "The Best", some time around April There was a video of the set floating around the web, and perhaps there still 4/5(38).

Sep 19, · I never knew that about Mavericks/Comets, but I just measured the hub diameter on a Granada rear-end that I have, and they measured /4", while my '73 Maverick hubs (stub?) measures /8". I guess I won't be using the Maverick brakes on that when I swap it in.

In fact, it's their un-pompous way with a song that is the Mavericks' calling card. The title and cover are a nice pastiche of a generic fifties LP, but the music is pure Mavericks, and that's enough for any fan of this treasurable band. As usual the production is smooth and clear/5(69).
